The Healthcare Industry User Group (HIUG) is comprised of all healthcare organizations and payers that have licensed an Oracle product. This would include both provider and managed care organizations. Within the Healthcare arena, organizations strive to provide quality services to benefit the people they serve. Healthcare organizations are faced with the challenge of providing quality care while maintaining and protecting the financial viability of their organization. Because of this unique paradox, it is beneficial for these organizations to unite in such a way as to share experiences and challenges.

• A forum for networking with other healthcare industry customers with similar interest, concerns and problems.

• A process by which the healthcare customers can speak to Oracle with a common voice on matters of common interest.
