PeopleSoft HCM - Technical Consultant

Intelligent Chaos (IC), a division of EMS Consulting, specializes in Business Transformation focused approach to the implementation of Service Oriented Architecture based solutions. We are experts in helping organizations build business solutions on Oracle’s Fusion Middleware, as well as other market-leading middleware platforms.

EMS-IC is currently seeking a key technical analyst for our project team at the client site. This need if for an experienced technical professional who has the expertise to get the job done right, on time and within budget. Requires extensive knowledge and experience implementing PeopleSoft HCM modules. This position is with our Practice Team and full time travel to our client sites is required. This position has multiple openings therefore will have various levels associated with the EMS development teams.

Module Expertise:

Core HR, Base Benefits, Benefits Administration, Payroll, Time and Labor, eApps, Manager Self-Service/Employee Self-Service, Talent Acquisition Management/Candidate Gateway, Enterprise Learning Management

• Serve as a technical resource for the full life cycle of development projects
• Turn specifications into working code 
• Develop or modify PeopleSoft HCM menus, panels, panel groups, records and tables
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft architecture, People Tools 8.4+ / PeopleCode, PeopleSoft Integration Tools experience (Application Engine, Component Interfaces, Workflow), including scriptwriting and SQR development.
• Strong experience in data conversion, interfaces and reporting 
• Create code that adheres to HCM Development standards and practices 
• Evaluating the impact of custom modifications on both the system and the batch processes 
• Perform unit testing in accordance with existing development methodology 
• Produce technical documentation for assigned programs 
• Performance tune new and existing code 
• Troubleshoot production issues 
• Participate in peer to peer code/design reviews 
• Various other tasks surrounding the design and development of HCM related projects 
• Design creative solutions to complex business problems
