PeopleSoft Financials - Functional Consultant

We are experts in helping organizations build business solutions on Oracle’s Fusion Middleware, as well as other market-leading middleware platforms.

EMS-IC is currently seeking experienced PeopleSoft Financial consulting professionals who will act as a liaison between the client community and the technology group and provide leadership on multiple projects involving the development of business solutions with PeopleSoft financial applications. Financial leads will advise our clients on available alternatives and help identify the optimal solution. Candidates will act as the guide to insure the completion of all tasks and deliverables. This position is with our Practice Team and full time travel to our client sites is required

Module Expertise:

Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Commitment Control, Billing, Asset Management, Contracts, Projects, Grants, Budgets, Purchasing/ePro, Inventory

• Serve as a functional resource for the full life cycle of development projects
• Work with Project Management Office to execute consulting and project planning methodologies, tools and standards, and provide ideas and strategies for improvements 
• Determine Fit/Gap analysis on business requirements
• Create concise specifications that can be translated into working code. 
• A successful candidate would be able to design creative solutions to complex business problems 
• Create specifications for modifications to PeopleSoft Financials menus, panels, panel groups, records and tables 
• Evaluate unit testing in accordance with existing development methodology 
• Produce functional documentation for assigned programs 
• Provide end user knowledge transfer and training as needed
