TAMPA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The year 2008 has already been quite extraordinary for EMS Consulting – Intelligent Chaos (EMS–IC). Building on the success of winning Oracle’s Excellence award late 2007, President and CEO Elaine Myrback has been profiled in both Smart Business Magazine Tampa Bay and the Maddux Business Report, honored by the firm receiving a nomination for the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Best Places to Work, earning an award for Top Small Businesses in the United States from DiversityBusiness.com, and recently expanding and relocating the corporate headquarters to a brand-new, spacious office suite overlooking beautiful Tampa Bay.
Myrback and her staff have only a day to unpack, take a breath and relish the beautiful, expansive view before jumping on a plane and showcasing the company as a Platinum Sponsor at the Alliance/Higher Education User’s Group (HEUG) Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada from March 10-13, 2008.
Highlighting their functional and technical business transformation expertise, as well as several marquee clients, EMS-IC booth 408 at the Alliance will feature live product demonstrations. EMS–IC will bring a touch of the sunshine state to Vegas, decorating their booth with fun Florida-themed items. Attendees will have the chance to win tickets for a grand prize raffle, a Florida beach weekend getaway, while learning how EMS-IC can provide them with exceptional services.
While preparing for Alliance and traveling to dozens of new clients, Myrback was thrilled to be honored with multiple awards from DiversityBusiness.com, from Top 100 Women Owned Business in Florida (rank 8), Top 500 Women Owned Business in America (rank 162), to an even greater achievement: Top 500 Small Business in America (rank 238).
Once home from Vegas, Myrback has but a few weeks before the announcement of the winner of Best Places to Work. Win or lose, Myrback knows that the main reason for her employee-based nomination is the family atmosphere cultivated at EMS–IC and that every associate within the firm makes a difference.
Says Myrback, “While I take great pride in the national honors that recognize the success of EMS-IC, it is the nomination for Best Places to Work by the EMS-IC family that means the most to me. As we rapidly grow, it’s exciting and rewarding to see the success of my strategy of empowering our employees to achieve success for the firm—and more importantly, for our clients.”
Although 2008 has only just begun, Myrback anticipates yet another successful year for her firm.
