EMS-Intelligent Chaos Announces a New PeopleSoft SOA Adapter, which enhances integration between Oracle’s Enterprise Service Bus and PeopleSoft Component Interfaces.
Tampa, FL – August 5, 2009 EMS–Intelligent Chaos (EMS-IC) today announced the release of an out-of-the-box Oracle® Fusion Middleware Adapter for PeopleSoft which promises to ease integration with Oracle's PeopleSoft Enterprise applications. The adapter offers market-leading integration of PeopleSoft Component Interfaces and Oracle’s Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), decreasing risk and support costs.
EMS-IC’s PeopleSoft Adapter allows for enhancements to the PeopleSoft system with a single point-of-entry via Integration Broker, and dynamically determines all requests and processing requirements. The EMS-IC PeopleSoft SOA Adapter allows ESB developers to create valid WSDLs and schemas for Component Interfaces – without generating Services, Service Operations, Messages, Queues, and Routings in Integration Broker.
EMS-IC clients benefit from this newly created adapter, which increases the productivity and decreases the timeline of implementing ESB-based solutions with the PeopleSoft Component Interface through the use of web-services.
Currently, the solution for integrating ESB with PeopleSoft is through exposing a Component Interface through Service Operations for each Method of the Component Interface. This SOA Adapter creates several objects in PeopleSoft that ESB is dependent on, and forces ESB and PeopleSoft to be interdependent to achieve seamless integrations. The EMS-IC PeopleSoft SOA Adapter reduces ESB dependency on Integration Broker WSDLs, which currently includes all methods of a Component Interface and a separate schema for each service operation.
With the new integration between PeopleSoft Enterprise and Oracle’s Fusion Middleware, the seamless integration helps eliminate costly undertakings of programming and upgrading of the numerous PeopleSoft Component Interfaces used in many projects.
Key benefits of the new EMS-IC PeopleSoft SOA Adapter include:
- Increased productivity for SOA Suite developers
- Fewer interdependencies between SOA Suite, PeopleSoft Integration Broker, and Component Interfaces
- Fewer objects for developers to manage for migration, maintenance and upgrades for PeopleSoft Applications
- An easy-to-use front-end to access for the creation of the WSDLs and Schemas needed for use by the ESB
- Flexibility in WSDL generation, allowing either all methods or a single method to be generated
- Reduction in dependencies when migrating objects between instances
"This newly released ’EMS-IC PeopleSoft Adapter’ grants our customers the ability to integrate Oracle’s ESB with PeopleSoft Component Interfaces seamlessly,” says Elaine Myrback, President and CEO of EMS Intelligent Chaos. “This means that we and our customers can deliver complex integrations in less time, at lower cost, and with fewer risks, resulting in cost savings and enhancing the ability of our customer’s to meet the needs of their users."
